
Organized free eye checkup camp
SAS Nagar, November 23 - The Punjab unit of National Association for the Blind, India organized a free eye check-up camp at the new premises of the Institute of the Blind in the new premises of the Institute of the Blind in collaboration with PGI and School Education Department Punjab at village Chandpur in block Majri.

On this occasion, Director Journal of School Education, Punjab Mr. Vinay Bublani was the chief guest. On this occasion, District Education Officer Mohali Mrs. Ginni Duggal also participated.
Giving information in this regard, the spokesperson of the organization said that the organization has been organizing a series of free camps in the government schools of Mohali district for the last 3 months. He said that now the organization has established a main center at village Chandpur on Siswan Kurali Highway, where a free eye camp will be organized on a weekly basis. He said that during the camp, 110 students identified from the eye camps conducted in Sialba Majri and Government Senior Secondary Smart Schools of Khizrabad by the experts of PGI's Advanced Eye Center were invited for providing spectacles and treatment and for further examination.
