SP Vivek Saim said that the post-mortem report revealed that 'there are two deep wounds on the head of the deceased at the front and back.' Raghuvanshi and his wife Sonam went missing on May 23 while they had gone to celebrate their honeymoon in Sohra in the East Khasi Hills.
Raghuvanshi's body was found in a gorge near Vesawdong Falls (waterfall) on June 2, while the search for his wife was ongoing. According to the police, a knife with blood on it was also found near the body. Meanwhile, Sonam surrendered before the police in Ghazipur, UP in the early hours of Monday. The police have also arrested four others involved in the case.
