He appealed to the residents of Patiala and said that masks should be used while going to crowded places. He said that doctors, paramedical staff and other health workers should wear masks in the hospital while taking care of patients and follow the appropriate Covid behavior. Apart from this, patients and their accompanying family members should also ensure to follow the rules regarding prevention of Covid as a precaution. He said that while coughing and sneezing, cover your nose and mouth with a handkerchief, tissue or elbow and make sure to wash your hands with soap after a while. Persons suffering from any other disease, pregnant women and elderly people should avoid going to crowded places. If there is cough, fever or any difficulty in breathing, go to the nearest health facility immediately and consult a doctor.
