Patiala, July 29- Patiala Social Welfare Society has been doing good work for about 25 years and is making people aware that single-use plastic should not be used. Instead, cloth or jute bags should be used. State Bank of Patiala and Punjab Pollution Control Board are also encouraging this.
The use of plastic leads to piles of garbage and it helps in bringing floods. It also makes people sick quickly. Mrs. Preeti Yadav IAS Deputy Commissioner Patiala said this while releasing copies for children. In which the message of eliminating pollution was given to children.
All people should keep their surroundings clean and should avoid plastic. According to the survey, the goods brought in it spoil quickly and diseases like cancer also occur.
This is the aim of Patiala Social Welfare to make all people aware, children to read, write and avoid diseases. Vijay Kumar Goyal, President Patiala Social Welfare Society, and Mrs. Preeti Yadav were thanked for releasing the copies.
