Rajpura, August 2 – Bahawalpur Samaj Welfare Society (Regd.) organized a dental and eye check-up camp for the children of SD School.
Giving information in this regard, Bahawalpur Welfare Society President Amit Arya said that 250 children of SD School are being adopted by his society and their teeth and eyes are being checked. He said that the children are also being given eye drops and toothpaste and the technique of brushing their teeth is also being explained.
He said that children use mobile phones more these days. Similarly, due to not taking much care of their teeth, their eyes and dental diseases are more common. He said that in the camp organized by the society today, ophthalmologists and dentists from Rajpura have specially reached here from Chandigarh and are examining the children.
On this occasion, the chairman of the organization, Inder Mehta, O.P. Arora, Virendra Setia and other dignitaries were present.
