Chandigarh– Punjab BJP Vice President Dr. Subhash Sharma expressed happiness over the fulfillment of his demand for Mohali-Rajpura rail line and said that the Modi government has given a big gift to Punjab. He said that to fulfill his election promise, he was constantly meeting the Railway Minister and today his efforts have paid off. He said that the 18 km long Mohali-Rajpura rail line will prove to be a boon for lakhs of people of the region.
Dr. Sharma said that this rail line will not only improve the transport facilities extensively, but it will also make it easier to go to Delhi and move goods. Also, the industry of Mohali will also get a big benefit from it. He termed it as a historic gift for the residents of the area and thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav and Union Minister of State for Railways Ravneet Bittu.
He further said that the second gift is the Ferozepur-Delhi Vande Bharat Express, which will strengthen the connectivity of the Malwa region and provide fast and comfortable facilities to the passengers.
Dr. Sharma said, “The Modi government is always working for the interest and prosperity of Punjab. The state will get more development in the coming times.”
