Hoshiarpur:- The newly appointed Deputy Medical Commissioner Dr. Swati today visited two sub-division hospitals of the district. During this, he reprimanded the concerned S.M. U. and staff for the shortcomings found at TADA Hospital and warned them to immediately rectify all the arrangements. He also directed them to rectify all the shortcomings found within 15 days and report back.
After this, he interacted with the patients and attendants who visited Dasuha Civil Hospital and Drug De-addiction Center, Labor Room Gynecology Ward, Medicine Store, Operation Theater, Children's Ward and expressed his satisfaction. Dr. Sipra and Gurvinder Shane were also present with him.
On this occasion, Dr. Swati said that the Punjab government is making all possible efforts to provide better health facilities to the people of Punjab, under which all the institutions of the district will be checked in the coming days so that the patient does not face any kind of problem. On this occasion, she said that all kinds of medicine tests are being done free in the hospitals by the Punjab government.
And there are good doctors who are experts in women's diseases in the Civil Hospitals TADA and Dasuha. There are also children's specialist doctors. She appealed to the people to get their children delivered in the civil hospitals and not to go to private hospitals, here everything from medicines to tests is free.
On this occasion, she mentioned the Faraste scheme being run by the government and said that if a person gets into an accident on the road, the person who brings him is also given a reward by the government and no police action is taken against him.
