The six demands in the petition were as follows;-
1 The migrants living in Punjab should be given a PCC on the basis of their valid identity cards of the state of which they are residents and they should be given an identity card after conducting a police investigation.
2 The records of the migrants living in Gram Panchayats, Nagar Panchayats, Municipal Committees and Municipal Corporations should be kept in the higher offices.
3 Identity cards and token numbers should be issued to the redi and thele owners and they should be given ID telephone numbers along with their redi or thele and the redi thele owners should be given a specific place outside the market crowd so that the traffic of the city can be smoothed.
4 The responsibility of the owners who have kept the migrants in their houses, shops, factories, fields, and cars should be fixed. If any crime is committed by their migrant, they will be responsible. So that in the coming time, criminal and unfortunate incidents can be avoided.
5 Illegal votes cast by immigrants in Punjab should be canceled and a complete ban should be imposed on their casting of votes in the future.
6 Domicile law should be implemented in Punjab as is applicable in Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Gujarat, Nagaland etc. And 90% of jobs should be reserved for the residents of Punjab in the private sector and government sector. And a law should be made to implement this legally.
The speakers said in their speech that the Punjab government and the administration, which are in deep sleep, should wake up and the government should strictly reprimand the administration that whatever government place the immigrants have occupied should be vacated as soon as possible. The speakers said that the government should take immediate action on these demands within fifteen days, if it does not take action, then in the coming days we will again start a big struggle and block the roads and close the city.
