Wushu players from 19 districts participated in the 27th State Level Junior, Senior (Boys and Girls) Wushu Championship - Rajiv Walia

Kapurthala- Under the aegis of Kapurthala District Wushu Association, the 27th State Level Junior, Senior (Boys and Girls) Wushu Championship was organized on 30, 31 May and 1 June 2025 at Shri Sanatan Dharma Sabha Kapurthala. Wushu players from 19 districts of Punjab participated enthusiastically in this three-day championship.

Kapurthala- Under the aegis of Kapurthala District Wushu Association, the 27th State Level Junior, Senior (Boys and Girls) Wushu Championship was organized on 30, 31 May and 1 June 2025 at Shri Sanatan Dharma Sabha Kapurthala. Wushu players from 19 districts of Punjab participated enthusiastically in this three-day championship.
Kapurthala District Wushu Association and Youth Sports Welfare Board President Rajiv Walia said that players from all the districts reached Kapurthala on 30 May 2025. He informed that on 31 May 2025, the championship was inaugurated by the special guest, famous Instagram actress Nanhi Pihu Sharma by lighting the lamp. Chhoti Pihu Sharma congratulated the players participating in the championship and said that in today's time all children should participate in sports.
Participating in sports keeps our mind and body healthy and at the same time we also concentrate on studies. The championship was inaugurated by Sakshi Chopra (Sahodaya President and Principal Guru Amardas Public School Uncha Bet), Jatinder Singh Randhawa (MD Guru Amardas Public School) as special guests.
Sakshi Chopra encouraged the players who reached the championship and said that the step taken by Rajiv Walia towards sports is proving to be commendable and inspiring. Jatinder Singh Randhawa also said that in today's time everyone should play some sport for physical and mental development. Leadership ability, team spirit and self-confidence have to be promoted through sports.
On this occasion, DSP Omkar Singh, famous musician Davinder Singh Dayalpuri, Lali Bhaskar (Chairman Anti-Terrorism Front), Jaswinder Singh (Hawk World School), Gurpreet Singh (General Secretary Wushu Association of Punjab), Palwinder Singh (Technical Director), Munish Gupta (Anand College of Engineering and Management), Dr. Amarjit Singh, Harvinder Singh Harry, Vivek Salhotra, Harman Sharma, Ripudaman Sharma participated and encouraged the players. Famous musician Davinder Dayalpuri entertained everyone with his music.
The players performed well in the championship. Retired IG Sir. Surinder Singh Sodhi, Rajwinder Kaur (President Wushu Association of Punjab), Sandeep Sharma (famous comedian of Patiala Ji) arrived as special guests in the closing ceremony of this championship. They honored the players of the winning team by giving them medals.
Sandeep Sharma Patila ji taught everyone to join sports and stay away from addiction through his art and said that the work being done by Rajiv Walia for sports is commendable. Rajiv Walia, Amrik Singh, Jaspal Singh, Paramjit Singh, Rajdeep Singh, Sukhwinder Singh, Gurcharan Singh presented mementoes to all the special guests who arrived at the championship and thanked everyone for coming to the championship.
On this occasion, Darshan Singh Bajwa, Somnath, Anuj Anand, Parminder Singh, Sanjay Sharma, Iqbal Singh, Avneet Kaur Dhaliwal, Baljinder Kaur, Gurveer Kaur, Hardeep Singh Kang, Pradeep Bajaj, Daljit Singh, Lovepreet Singh, Awadhesh Kumar, Sanjeev Walia, Paras Chopra, Raj Kumar etc. were present.
