Expressing gratitude to Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, Jai Krishna Singh Raudi said that the completion of the bypass project by the Chief Minister as per the demand of the people and the need of the time will ease traffic for the Garhshankar area as well as the neighboring states. The Deputy Speaker said that the people of the area had raised this very serious issue many times before the previous governments, but no one gave deep thought to this public welfare project and ignored this demand. He said that Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has given in-principle approval after seriously considering the entire project. The Punjab government has issued instructions regarding the feasibility of the project so that the bypass work can be completed as soon as possible and within the stipulated time.
