
Health Department issued Covid advisory.
Hoshiarpur- As per the guidelines of Health Department Punjab, Civil Surgeon Hoshiarpur Dr. Pawan Kumar Shagotra has issued Covid advisory. He said that a slight increase in Covid-19 cases has been observed in some parts of the country.

In this context, he said that there is no need to panic, this is just a precautionary advice for the safety of the people. The situation in the state of Punjab is under control and the Health Department is fully prepared, yet citizens are advised to take basic safety precautions to prevent the spread of infection.
Elderly people, pregnant women, people with illness or weak immune system should avoid going to crowded or closed places and wear masks. Health workers are also advised to wear masks and follow Covid-appropriate behavior.
Cover your mouth and nose with a handkerchief, tissue or the bend of your elbow while coughing or sneezing.
Keep washing your hands thoroughly with soap and water from time to time.
If you feel COVID symptoms like fever, cough, difficulty in breathing, fatigue, body ache, diarrhea, runny nose and itchy throat, you should immediately go to the nearest government institution and get a COVID test done as advised by the doctor.
Do not touch your face, mouth or eyes without washing hands. Avoid spitting in public places. Do not self-medicate, especially for respiratory symptoms, go to the nearest health center and consult a doctor.
