Hoshiarpur- The girls kho-kho team of Sant Baba Dalip Singh Memorial Khalsa College Dumeli, an educational institution run under the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, secured third position in the inter-college competitions of B Division of Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar under the leadership of Professor Ramandeep Mukhi, Head of Physical Education Department.
On reaching the college, these players were felicitated by Principal Dr. Gurnam Singh Rasoolpur and all the staff members. During these competitions, the college team qualified for the inter-college league matches to be organized by Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar by defeating BLM College Nawanshahr 5/9 in the first inter-college qualification match.
After which, the college team secured third position while playing matches with different teams in the league matches. Kho-Kho girls team was captained by Gurleen Kaur, Randeep Kaur, Jyoti, Jasveen, Navjot Kaur, Kiranpreet Kaur, Jaspreet Kaur, Bina Kaur, Baljinder Kaur, Anupreet Kaur, Pooja Kaur, Sandeep Kaur.
On this occasion college principal Dr. Gurnam Singh Rasoolpur congratulated the students and encouraged them to move ahead in their future life. On this occasion professor Ramandeep, S. Satnam Singh, S. Kanwaljit Singh besides all the staff members and students of the college were present.
