Took loan from online loan app; Blackmailed by sending obscene pictures while delaying repayment; One arrested.

After investigating this case, the cyber police has arrested an accused with the help of the Rohtak police. The alleged accused has been identified as Abhay Kumar, a resident of West Bengal.
When the cyber police conducted their own investigation, it was found that the said accused is living in Rohtak and is playing the game of fraud, under which the police went to Rohtak and caught him with the help of the local police. Two mobiles have been recovered from him.

What is the matter-
Gurinder Singh, a resident of Maur Mandi, told the cyber police in his complaint that he had taken a loan from an online app called 'Fashion Rupee' on different dates. The last date of this loan was fixed as June 12.
Gurinder Singh said that on May 31, he received a call from an unknown number in which the caller introduced himself as an employee of the said app and asked him to pay the loan amount immediately. When Gurinder Singh blocked that number, the person started blackmailing him from different WhatsApp numbers.
According to the complainant, the accused edited his personal photos in an obscene manner and sent them to his relatives and threatened that if he did not pay the money, he would make those photos viral on social media.
Fearing, Gurinder Singh gave Rs 14,309 to the accused. While investigating, the cyber police arrested the accused on the basis of technical clues, who has been identified as Abhay Kumar, a resident of West Bengal.

The mastermind of the fraud lives in Mumbai -
Police Station Cyber ??Police Inspector Sukhvir Kaur said that after registering the above FIR, the help of the National Cyber ??Crime Reporting Portal was taken to get information about the accused Abhay Kumar.
It was found that he was committing fraud while living in Rohtak. After finding out his location, the help of Rohtak Police was taken, under which the local police caught him and the Bathinda Cyber ??Police team arrested the accused and brought him to Bathinda.
Two phones including an iPhone were found from him. Data was found in one phone which he used for blackmailing. The accused said that his boss lives in Mumbai, he gets a salary of Rs 8,000 every month and gets 10 percent of the money earned from blackmailing.
