Una, February 22- Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal on Saturday did a surprise inspection of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) Pekhubela and took stock of the center built for the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) examination. He went to the classrooms and interacted with the students and inquired about their studies, exam preparations and available facilities. During this, he also guided the students. During the inspection, the school staff including JNV Principal Raj Singh was present.
The Deputy Commissioner also inspected the ongoing repair works and sewerage treatment plant in the school. He instructed the junior engineer of the agency doing the construction work to complete all the works within the stipulated time frame and with quality, so that the students can get better facilities as soon as possible.
After this, the Deputy Commissioner visited Panchvati Park in Katohar Kalan Panchayat of Amb subdivision. He directed the officials to complete the lights, benches and other beautification work in the park under MNREGA convergence soon, so that the local people can get better facilities for comfortable sitting and walking in the morning and evening.
On the demand of local residents, the Deputy Commissioner also directed to prepare a detailed proposal for the construction of a community building in the Panchayat area and send it to the Deputy Commissioner's office.
During this, SDM Amb Sachin Sharma, Tehsildar Prem Dhiman, BDO Amb Ompal and other officials were also present.
