Sohana Foundation organized a colorful event dedicated to the festival of Teej.

SAS Nagar, August 2 - Sohana Foundation organized a colorful cultural program dedicated to Teej in Sector 78, Mohali. The event organized under the leadership of Foundation President Harjinder Kaur Sohana in an effort to preserve Punjabi culture and customs was attended by Shiromani Akali Dal District President Parvinder Singh Sohana as the chief guest.

The event organized under the leadership of Foundation President Harjinder Kaur Sohana in an effort to preserve Punjabi culture and customs was attended by Shiromani Akali Dal District President Parvinder Singh Sohana as the chief guest.
At the event, Punjab's famous folk singer Jaswinder Brar forced the people present to dance with her wonderful songs. On this occasion, Mohini Toor, Raj Dhaliwal and Gurpreet Kaur Bhangu, who have contributed in various fields, were specially honored by Sohana Foundation.
On this occasion, women celebrated the festival by wearing traditional costumes and playing Giddha-Bhangra. During the ceremony, ‘Miss Teej’ and ‘Miss Punjaban’ competitions were also held, in which Jasmin Kaur won the title of Miss Teej and Rajveer Kaur won the title of Miss Punjaban.
On this occasion, Parvinder Singh Sohana said that Teej is not just a festival, it is the sweet heritage of our mother-daughter. He said that this festival is the soul of our Punjabi culture, where daughters get respect, love and happiness. By celebrating Teej, we not only preserve our tradition, but also try to keep the new generation connected with our heritage and heritage.
