Rayat Bahra Engineering College organised 'Grassroot Innovators of Punjab' programme

Hoshiarpur- Rayat Bahra Engineering College organised 'Grassroot Innovators of Punjab' programme in collaboration with Punjab Technical University. Its aim was to motivate students towards innovation and entrepreneurship. Teachers, innovators, entrepreneurs and representatives of Gram Panchayats participated in the programme and shared their experiences.

Hoshiarpur- Rayat Bahra Engineering College organised 'Grassroot Innovators of Punjab' programme in collaboration with Punjab Technical University. Its aim was to motivate students towards innovation and entrepreneurship. Teachers, innovators, entrepreneurs and representatives of Gram Panchayats participated in the programme and shared their experiences.
Director-Principal of the college Dr Gurjeet Singh welcomed the guests and made the students aware about the importance of innovation and entrepreneurship. On this occasion, the chief guest of the programme, Assistant Director of Business Nurturing Centre, Punjab Technical University, Dr Mriginder Singh Bedi, informed the students about the 'Grassroot Innovators Scheme'. He said that the Punjab Government and the University are providing financial assistance and guidance to the youth under this scheme.
Dr Bedi talked about financial assistance and seed capital for new companies. Innovator Surjit Singh Chagar showcased his maize harvesting machine, which will be beneficial for farmers. Electric scooter company official presented a new project on electric two-wheeler, opening new opportunities for students.
Group Chairman Gurvinder Singh Bahra felicitated the special guests and said that our aim is to make students job givers instead of job seekers. Innovation and entrepreneurship are the keys to success and Rayat Bahra Group helps students to bring their ideas to life. In the end, Campus Director Dr. Chandra Mohan thanked all the guests, teachers and students.
