
Punjab Police Band added patriotic colours to Military Literature Festival
Patiala, February 17- During the ongoing third Military Literature Festival in Patiala, the patriotic tunes played by the Punjab Police Pipe Band filled the air of Patiala with patriotic colours and the passionate tunes filled new enthusiasm in every age group.

The military equipment standing on one side of the Khalsa College ground and the patriotic tunes playing in front attracted every spectator. The 11-member team of the First IRB Band of Punjab Police, led by Band Master Inspector Vikas Kumar, filled the audience with the feeling of patriotism with tunes like 'Deshon Ka Sartaj Bharat', 'Valley of the Green', 'Saare Jahan Se Achcha Hindustan Hamara' and 'Cook of the North'.
Deputy Commissioner Dr. Preeti Yadav praised the performance of the First IRB Band of Punjab Police and said that although every performance included in the Military Literature Festival has been important, but the band has created a sense of duty towards their country in the audience who came to the festival. He said that such presentations also instill a sense of patriotism in children and youth.
On this occasion, Military Literature Festival Association Chairman Lieutenant General TS Shergill, Lieutenant General (Retd.) Chetinder Singh, SSP Dr. Nanak Singh, SP Sarfaraz Alam, Festival Nodal Officer Additional Deputy Commissioner (Urban Development) Navreet Kaur Sekhon, Additional Deputy Commissioner (G) Isha Singal, Municipal Corporation Joint Commissioner Babandeep Singh Walia, Assistant Commissioner Richa Goyal were also present.
