Chandigarh- Continuing the tree plantation campaign, the club members planted about 115 shady and fruit trees. The club president said that the club has set a target of planting about 500 trees by the month of August. During this period, 200 trees have been planted. The trees have also been planted at the same place where they can be taken complete care of.
On this occasion, Lion Harinder Pal Singh Harry told the journalists that the chartered president of the club Lion Amrik Singh Mohali and Lion Gurcharan Singh organized a langar of kheer-puri and pakoras for the members and passersby. Langar of kheer-puri and pakoras was served to the passersby and cleaning staff strolling in the park.
