NCC cadet of Veterinary University selected for Indian Army.

Ludhiana 07 August 2025- Cadet Bhavesh Kondal, trained from One Punjab Remount and Veterinary NCC Squadron operating at Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana, has cleared the Services Selection Board and has been selected to join the Remount and Veterinary Corps of the Indian Army.

Ludhiana 07 August 2025- Cadet Bhavesh Kondal, trained from One Punjab Remount and Veterinary NCC Squadron operating at Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana, has cleared the Services Selection Board and has been selected to join the Remount and Veterinary Corps of the Indian Army.
He will be commissioned as a Captain. Bhavesh passed his Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry degree from Veterinary Science College in 2023. He was serving as a Veterinary Surgeon in an NGO in Uttarakhand. He was selected from 18 SSB Prayagraj for services in this prestigious corps.
He will undergo basic military training from RVC Centre and College Meerut. Bhavesh was a very enthusiastic cadet during his NCC training. Selection to RVC is a highly competitive exam and recognizes excellence in leadership and discipline along with knowledge gained in Veterinary Science.
His achievement is a proud occasion for the University and its faculty. The University Administration, faculty and entire NCC staff extend their heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Bhavesh for a successful career in the Indian Army and service to the country.
