Nawanshahr- Here, Lohri of girls born in Karan Hospital was celebrated with great enthusiasm. These children were garlanded and their mothers were given certificates along with gifts. These rituals were performed jointly by the hospital head Dr. Bakshish Singh and Dr. Balveer Kaur.
He said that every year on the Lohri of girls, celebrations are organized in the hospital premises, under which Lohri was distributed to the girls born this year in the above manner. The coordinator of this program, Surjit Mazari, congratulated the hospital administrators for this work and wished the girls a bright future. On this occasion, lecturer Punjabi Raj Rani praised the contribution of various women for the development of the country.
