Mohali, June 22: The Aam Aadmi Party government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is continuously making efforts to make Punjab drug-free and will continue in the future. Under the government's campaign against drugs, drug traffickers are being arrested across Punjab. At the same time, an awareness campaign is also being conducted with the support of private hospitals and organizations to successfully advance this campaign.
This was said by Mohali MLA Kulwant Singh while talking to the media today. MLA Kulwant Singh was interacting with the patients during the drug de-addiction camp organized at Cheema Hospital Phase-4. Kulwant Singh said that the Punjab government is committed to creating a drug-free Punjab under the Tandarust Punjab campaign.
MLA Kulwant Singh said that strict action is being taken against drug traffickers in Punjab and all the houses built by selling drugs and spoiling the youth of Punjab are also being demolished and the properties of drug traffickers are being seized regularly. It is worth mentioning here that a free drug de-addiction camp was organized under the leadership of Cheema Hospital Director Sunil Agarwal and Gaurav Agarwal,
