Hoshiarpur- Independence Day was celebrated in a very grand and grand manner at STC Khadka Camp. The Chief Guest Mr. Charudhwaj Agarwal, Inspector General Assistant Training Center Khadka Camp hoisted the national flag at Shaheed Satpal Chaudhary Parade Ground at 8 am.
During the flag hoisting, the tricolor was honored by giving the national salute. All the officers, subordinate officers, jawans and trainees of the institution and women, men and children living in this campus participated in this ceremony with great enthusiasm.
Addressing the parade, the Chief Guest Mr. Charudhwaj Agarwal, Inspector General, extended his greetings to all the employees and family members of the employees present on the occasion of Independence Day and emphasized the importance of Independence Day and the responsibility of every citizen to maintain the values of freedom and unity.
The sacrifices of freedom fighters were remembered and awareness was created about the changing environment, sanitation, water conservation and the damage caused to the progress and security of the country. The entire parade resonated with a sense of pride and patriotism, which was a symbol of a successful Independence Day celebration.
