Folk media groups gave information about government schemes

Una, 21 December- Cultural group RK Kalamanch Chintapurni, affiliated to the Department of Information and Public Relations, Ambtilla and Chowki and Purvi Kalamanch Jalgran Tabba, through songs, music and street plays in Kungrat and Khadd Khas, made people aware about the welfare schemes being run for the welfare of the Scheduled Castes as well as public welfare policies, schemes, achievements and drug prevention.

Una, 21 December- Cultural group RK Kalamanch Chintapurni, affiliated to the Department of Information and Public Relations, Ambtilla and Chowki and Purvi Kalamanch Jalgran Tabba, through songs, music and street plays in Kungrat and Khadd Khas, made people aware about the welfare schemes being run for the welfare of the Scheduled Castes as well as public welfare policies, schemes, achievements and drug prevention.
During this, the folk media groups, while making people aware, told that many schemes and programs are being run by the department with the aim of upliftment of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, minority communities, women, children, disabled and elderly people and to provide equal opportunities to these classes in the society, to protect their rights and to ensure full participation. 
The government has made a provision of Rs 5 crore for providing computer training to candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Tribe/OBC and Minority Classes, Single Women, Widows and Divyangjan. For rehabilitation of elderly, destitute, women and orphans, the department is setting up integrated Adarsh ??Gram Sukh Ashray Complex with a capacity of 400 residents under one roof in village Luthan of Kangra district and Sundarnagar of district Mandi.
In this series, cultural groups will organize programs on December 22 in villages Saloh and Dulahad Upper of Haroli Assembly constituency, village Pirthipur of Gagret Assembly constituency and village Ghanghret of Chintpurni. While on the sixth and last day of the campaign on December 23, people will be entertained and informed about the schemes being run in public interest through songs, music and dramas in villages Pansai, Boul, Moh Khas and Paroiyan of Kutlehar Assembly constituency.
