Punjab National Bank's two-day loan camp begins, Deputy Commissioner inaugurates it

Una, 7 February- Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal inaugurated the two-day home loan and Surya Ghar Loan Expo Camp organized by Punjab National Bank near MC Park Una on Friday. On this occasion, PNB Divisional Head Arvind Saroch, District Lead Chief Manager Lahri Mal, PNB Una Management Head Piyush Kumar and Chief Manager of Anchal Office Shimla Sahil Kumar were specially present.

This loan camp will run till 8 February, in which more and more people will be made aware by giving information about various loan schemes to the citizens.
Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal appreciated the efforts of Punjab National Bank to provide loans at affordable interest rates under a simple process for house construction and installation of solar rooftop. He said that PNB is the second largest bank in the country and it plays an important role in the major projects of the country.
He said that the Solar Rooftop Scheme is not only economically beneficial, but is also an important step towards environmental protection. Under this scheme, citizens will get affordable and sustainable energy, which will reduce electricity bills and have a positive impact on the environment. The Deputy Commissioner appealed to the PNB officials to extend the benefits of various schemes of the bank to farmers and the general public, so that more and more people can take advantage of them.
Home and solar energy loans at affordable interest rates
District Leading Chief Manager Lahri Mal said that the objective of Punjab National Bank is to provide assistance to people in building houses and adopting solar energy, so that they can make their lives more affordable and green. He informed that home loan is available at an interest rate of 8.40 percent. Solar rooftop loan can be availed at an interest rate of 7 percent.
Solar rooftop systems up to 10 kW can be installed at an interest rate of 7 percent for 10 years. The loan process is being completed with minimal paperwork. He appealed to the citizens to take advantage of this opportunity and take steps towards building their dream home and adopting solar energy through affordable loan schemes.
