PGIMER,Chandigarh- The department of Transfusion Medicine conducted two blood donation camps on 20th December, 2024 under the guidance of Prof. R.R. Sharma First at Modern Valley, Fatehgarh Sahib in association with Blood Donor Council, Morinda under the leadership of Dr. H.K. Dhawan and collected 254 blood units and second at Sunny Enclave Market, Desumajra, Kharar in association with Punj Darya Sabhyacharak Manch (Regd.) under the leadership of Dr. Ekta and collected 70 blood units.
The Department of Transfusion Medicine, PGIMER, Chandigarh expresses its sincere gratitude to all its volunteer donors who came forward to donate on the occasion. The donated blood and components help in catering the needs of the critically ill patients in the institute.
