Hoshiarpur: The 62nd Home Guards Day of Punjab Home Guards was celebrated at the local training centre on the directions of Director General of Police-cum-Commandant General Punjab Home Guards and Director Civil Defence Sanjeev Kalra, Deputy Commandant General of Home Guards and Deputy Director Civil Defence Harmanjit Singh and Divisional Commandant of Punjab Home Guards Anil Kumar Pruthi. Apart from various personalities, office staff and personnel of Punjab Home Guards from various police stations participated in the Raising Day. 
The District Commander of Punjab Home Guards honored the personnel who performed their duty with full dedication, dedication and honesty by giving them certificates of appreciation. District Language Officer Dr. Jaswant Rai, social workers Rakesh Sahni, Rakesh Thapar, Divisional Wardens Sunil Kapoor, Vinod Kapoor, Sector Warden Pramod Kumar, Company Commander Maninder Singh Hira, Davinder Singh, Platoon Commander Indrakanta were also present.
