
Cyclist dies after coming under truck near Phuhara Chowk
Rajpura, February 22- A labourer riding a bicycle died on the spot after coming under a truck loaded with rice near Phuhara Chowk in Rajpura city yesterday morning. According to the statements of the deceased's brother Kamaljit Singh, the name of the deceased is Bansi Lal son of Sham Lal resident of Peer Colony, who was going to work on a bicycle as usual.

When he reached Phuhara Chowk, he died after coming under a speeding truck and his body was shattered into two pieces on the road. The truck driver fled leaving the truck on the spot.
The police reached the spot and took the body and the truck (PB 11 CN 5348) in their possession and registered a case against the unknown driver. Further action has been started by registering FIR number 35 under sections 281, 106 (1), 324 (2) of the IPC.
