Garhshankar- A general meeting of the Parent Teacher Association was called at Babbar Akali Memorial Khalsa College Garhshankar under the leadership of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Amandeep Hira welcomed the members who arrived at the meeting.
On this occasion, the work done during the last session of the college was discussed and in the presence of Principal Dr. Amandeep Hira, executive members were selected from among the parents and teachers for the session 2024-25.
In the election, Principal Dr. Amandeep Hira was elected President, Tirth Singh Mann Senior Vice President, Dr. Harvinder Kaur Vice President, Davinder Singh Secretary, Dr. Manbir Kaur Cashier, Dr. Sangha Gurbakhsh Kaur Joint Secretary and executive members included Gurjinder Kaur, Akwinder Kaur, Surinder Pal Kaur, Sohan Lal, Dr. Preetinder Singh, Prof. Gurpreet Singh Kalsi and Dr. Ajay Dutta.
In the end, Convenor Dr. Manbir Kaur thanked the members who came and congratulated the newly elected office bearers and assured that the association will continue to contribute in the interest of the college in future also.
