Una, November 27: The movement of vehicles on the section from kilometer 5/580 to 5/630 of Lathiani-Kodra road will remain closed till December 3. During this period, traffic will be diverted to alternative routes. Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate Jatin Lal has issued orders in this regard under Section 115 and 116 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988.
These orders have been issued regarding the upgradation work of laying interlock concrete blocks on the road so that the work can be done quickly and smoothly. He said that the traffic has been diverted to the alternative route Lathiani-Kodra via Padyola-Dharet road.
The Deputy Commissioner has directed the concerned officials to inform the public about the closure of the road and to install advance boards to inform about the change in route.
