(Patiala) November 16: The Aam Aadmi Party is in full swing for the by-elections to be held on 4 assembly seats in Punjab. The by-elections are scheduled to be held on November 20, which include Gidderbaha, Chabbewal, Dera Baba Nanak and Barnala seats. Regarding these elections, Aam Aadmi Halqa Sanaur MLA Harmeet Singh Pathanmajra has claimed that in these elections, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will win big like Jalandhar (West).
Pathanmajra said that this election is a semi-final for Punjab. Aam Aadmi Party has fulfilled all its promises, including providing clean and transparent administration. The public will definitely support us. Appealing to the people to reject the old politics of fear and unite and make Punjab strong, he claimed that AAP candidates will win big on all four seats.
He said that the Shiromani Akali Dal once had significant support in these assembly constituencies but its absence from the elections today is a clear indication of its political decline. He said that the people of Punjab will reject both the BJP and the Congress in this election as both the parties have historically neglected Punjab and its farmers. He said that the Akali Dal has not fielded its candidates.
