Closing Ceremony of Hindi Fortnight at NIPER, SAS Nagar.

SAS Nagar, September 26- Hindi Fortnight was celebrated at NIPER, SAS Nagar from 14.09.2025 to 28.09.2025. Various competitions and a scientific lecture were organized during the event, including a lecture on "Brain Stroke" by Prof. S.S. Sharma, Head, Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology.

SAS Nagar, September 26- Hindi Fortnight was celebrated at NIPER, SAS Nagar from 14.09.2025 to 28.09.2025. Various competitions and a scientific lecture were organized during the event, including a lecture on "Brain Stroke" by Prof. S.S. Sharma, Head, Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology.
The closing ceremony of Hindi Fortnight was held at NIPER, SAS Nagar on 26.09.2025. Prof. Dulal Panda, Director, NIPER, Prof. K.B. Tikku, Dean, NIPER, and Wing Commander (Retd.) P.J.P. Singh Waraich, Registrar, along with senior faculty members, staff, and students were present.
Acting Hindi Officer, Mr. Manoj Tiwari, presented the progress report for the year 2024-25. Winners of the self-composed poetry recitation competition recited their poems. Prizes were awarded to the winners of all competitions. 
Additionally, an officer, Dr. Ashutosh Kumar, Assistant Professor, and two employees, Mr. Pramod Kumar, Data Processing Assistant, and Mr. N. Kishore Babu, Technical Assistant, and an outsourced employee, Mr. Rajkiran, were also awarded for their contributions and commendable work in the field of the official language. Prof. S.S. Sharma was also honored for his scientific lecture in Hindi.
In his address, Prof. Panda stated that the Hindi language is a strong link that connects the country. He also emphasized the need to promote Hindi in our daily activities. He also drew attention to the creation of the institute's anthem.
In his address, Prof. Tikku thanked Mr. Manoj Tiwari, Hindi Officer, for successfully organizing the fortnight. He stated that we should strive to sign all our official correspondence in Hindi at least during the fortnight.
The vote of thanks was presented by Wing Commander (Retd.) P.J.P. Singh Waraich. He expressed gratitude to all the departments that contributed to the successful organization of the fortnight. He said, "Hindi is the official language, we will not only respect Hindi but will also give it respect in our lives."
