Nawanshahr - Like every year, the birth anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji was celebrated with great devotion at KSM Public School, Garhshankar Road, Nawanshahr. On this occasion, Principal Mrs. Santosh Boparai, while giving a speech on the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, said that Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji is considered the first Guru of the Sikhs.
His birth anniversary is celebrated with great enthusiasm on the full moon day of Katak. She congratulated all the staff and students on the occasion of Gurpurab. On this occasion, after reciting Japji Sahib Ji, the students of the school glorified Guru Sahib Ji with the life history of Guru Ji, Shabad Kirtan, Kavishri and religious songs.
On this occasion, Amarjit Singh told the children the real meaning of Guru and told them about following the path shown by Guru Nanak Dev Ji to make their lives successful. He shared his thoughts about the life of Guru Sahib Ji with the students and explained about adopting a life examination according to the teachings of Guru Sahib: Naam Japo, Kirat Karo, Vand Chhako.
