On this occasion, Rotary Club President Mr. SK Arora welcomed the members. Ashok Pawar, President of Mohali Branch of the Council, said that in this regard, 100 saplings of Neem, Ficus, Arjun, Sheesham, Amaltas had already been delivered to the academy, out of which about 40 saplings were planted and the work of planting the remaining 60 saplings will be completed by Cricket Academy Incharge Mr. Rajinder Singh. After planting the saplings, the responsibility of their care will be taken by the Academy administrators.
He said that these saplings were made available free of cost by Shri Niranjan Singh, State Convener Environment, Chandigarh Province, from Shri Nitin Chauhan, Senior Manager (Environment) of Godrej Nursery Industrial Area Phase 8B Mohali.
Finally, Shri Sudhir Gulati thanked the members and other dignitaries who came.
On this occasion, Gurdeep Singh, Baldev Ram, Niranjan Singh, Madhukar Kaura, Rajinder Singh etc. were present among others.
