Chandigarh:- Shopkeepers' anger finally erupted in Sector 13, Manimajra, Chandigarh. Under the leadership of social worker and Santoshi Mata Temple's Mahant Rameshwar Giri, Mohanlal Pankaj, Ashok Kumar, and Bajrang, they blocked the road and protested against the Municipal Corporation.

Chandigarh:- Shopkeepers' anger finally erupted in Sector 13, Manimajra, Chandigarh. Under the leadership of social worker and Santoshi Mata Temple's Mahant Rameshwar Giri, Mohanlal Pankaj, Ashok Kumar, and Bajrang, they blocked the road and protested against the Municipal Corporation. Shopkeepers allege that the road leading from Pipli Wala Town, through the Modern Housing Complex underpass, to the Police Station intersection, has not been repaired for the past 8-10 years.
As a result, their businesses are suffering significant losses. Dust and dirt are not only damaging their goods, but shopkeepers are also experiencing breathing problems. At 10:30 a.m., shopkeepers sat on the road and blocked it, but the Manimajra police station arrived and cleared the road. DSP East Vijay Singh, who arrived at the scene, was given a written letter by the people, which the DSP will forward to the Chandigarh administration and Municipal Corporation officials to convey the people's concerns.
Shopkeepers and local residents are demanding that this road be constructed as soon as possible, otherwise the protests will intensify in the coming days. On this occasion, various shopkeepers, including social worker and Santoshi Mata Temple's Mahant Rameshwar Giri, Mohanlal, Rajbir Singh, Ashok Kumar, Pankaj Kumar, Bansal, Shiv Kumar, Bedi, Lucky, Avtar, Suman Ritu, Sulekha, Chunni Lal, Narendra, Pawan, Guddu, Jinder Tiwana, Basant, Khurana, Robin, Luthra, and leaders of political parties also pledged their support and joined the struggle.
