SAS Nagar, October 21, 2024: Keeping in view the problems causing by the Sausage (Balamkhera) trees, the Mohali MC Commissioner, T Bennith has ordered the MC Team to start a time bound drive to give the relief to the residents of the problem.
      As per the directions of the MC Commissioner, a drive to pluck these Sausage (Balamkhera) fruit hanging on roadside from the trees, a formal drive has been launched that would be completed in two phase by December 15, 2024.
     In first phase, Municipal Corporation has already started pruning of ripen Balamkhera from phase 4-5 dividing road (shopping center road). In first phase of this drive from phase 4-5 dividing road (shopping center road) to Phase 7/8 intersection,  pruning of ripen Balamkhera work will be completed by 5th November 2024 thereafter remaining main roads will be taken up in this drive by 15th December, 2024.
