Patiala, October 14 - The 71 Aam Aadmi Clinics in Patiala district are proving to be a boon to the common people, where thousands of patients are availing the benefits of these clinics every day. The Aam Aadmi Clinic of Guru Nanak Nagar-Tafazzalpura of Patiala city is also providing health facilities to the residents of many nearby colonies in the area. Apart from Dr. Gaurav Sharma who attends the patient very well, Clinical Assistant (CA) Parvinder Kaur, Pharmacist Vidhan and Helper Gurjit are satisfied with the services.
The patients do not have to pay any money, medicines are also available free from the clinic and small tests are also free. On Monday, more than 150 patients reached this clinic with their physical problems. During a brief conversation, Dr. Gaurav Sharma said that the aim of these clinics is to diagnose common and minor physical problems of the people of the area. If the patient faces any major problem, he is referred to a major government hospital in Patiala. He advised the people that they should eat home cooked food instead of eating out in the circle of taste and make walking a part of their daily life.
On this occasion, Amarjit Singh Ralhan, a resident of Guru Nanak Nagar, who came to the clinic for treatment, praised the opening of the Aam Aadmi Clinic by the Punjab government and the services provided by these clinics. That these clinics opened on the lines of the Delhi government not only have the best specialist doctors but the rest of the staff also perform their duties with full honesty and commitment.
