
Aim to sensitize children for social service: "Cloth bag langar" organization
Chandigarh:--With the aim of making children aware of social service from childhood, "Cloth Bag Langar" was organized in Ward No. 24 under the leadership of Area Councilor Jasbir Singh Bunty. Under which the students and staff of Government Model High School, Sector 42B, Chandigarh donated clothes for the campaign started by Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh.

Under which the students and staff of Government Model High School, Sector 42B, Chandigarh donated clothes for the campaign started by Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh.
Area Councilor Jasbir Singh Bunty, Principal of the school Mrs. Navdeep Kaur and school staff including Rajkumar, JE Suresh Kumar, Health Inspector Pradeep Kumar of MOH were also present during the program.
Area Councilor Jasbir Singh Bunty informed that Swachhata Hi Seva Abhiyan is being run by Chandigarh Municipal Corporation from 17 September to 02 October 2024. In this sequence, cleanliness was done in the community center and surrounding areas of Ward No. 24. At the same time, under the Swachhata Hi Seva Abhiyan, a program was organized in Sector 42B Government Model High School to make children aware of cleanliness and social service in schools from childhood. Clothes were donated by the school staff and employees under the student clothes donation campaign. The purpose of clothes donation is to provide clothes to the poor people who are not in a position to buy clothes for themselves.
