Jalandhar: Continuing the celebration of 78th anniversary of the country’s Independence, AIR Jalandhar is organising a Music Festival “Sufi Rang” at Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, tomorrow.
The event is being organised in collaboration with Lovely Professional University, in which renowned Sufi singers Raza Heer and Yakub will showcase their musical talent. The event will be held in Shanti Devi Mittal Auditorium of the University. Apart from the students of the University, the senior officials and staff of AIR Jalandhar and Lovely Professional University will also attend the event.
The aim of the event is to make the students aware of Sufi music which is a part of the composite culture of India while engaging them in the Independence celebrations.
