Mahilpur, August 3 - Freedom Fighter Babu Mangu Ram Government Primary School village Mugowal today inaugurated a room built in the school with 4 lakh rupees donated by NRI Sardar Santokh Singh Ji. On this occasion Sardar Santokh Singh's close relatives Sardar Gurdayal Singh, Satnam Singh, Zorawar Singh, Avtar Singh, School Head State Awardee Karnail Singh, Surinder Kaur, Jaskaran Kaur, Balkar Singh, Charan Das and other school committee members and staff were present. 
Addressing the gathering on this occasion, the head of the school Karnail Singh said that NRI Sardar Santokh Singh ji is a noble person who lives a Gursikh life while possessing a friendly nature. They have built this room in the school by giving 4 lakh rupees from their labor earnings, the children of the school will feel very comfortable with its construction. He said that we all the villagers pray for the prosperity of the family of Sardar Santokh Singh ji. 
The villagers present on this occasion praised the efforts done by the head teacher of the school, State Awardee Sardar Karnail Singh, and said that Sardar Karnail Singh is giving good rites to the children of the school along with education. At the same time, he always strives to do philanthropic work by motivating the villagers and using the support given by them in the constructive works of the school. At the end of the function, everyone drank tea and prayed for the prosperity of the family of NRI Sardar Santokh Singh. 
It is worth mentioning that this room has been constructed by Sardar Santokh Singh NRI in the memory of his mother late Mrs. Ram Rakhi ji and late father Shri Devi Chand ji. At the end of the event, the relatives of Sardar Santokh Singh were honored by giving siropao.
