Hoshiarpur - Rotary Club Hoshiarpur Central Press Secretary Naresh Kumar Saba while issuing a statement to the press said that the club organized a simple ceremony at village Jahankhelan. In which club president Vijay Kumar participated as the chief guest. The event was jointly presided over by Rotary Club District Assistant Governor Rotarian Bhupinder Kumar and Club District Secretary Rotarian Harshvander Singh.
On this occasion, the president of the club, Vijay Kumar, while presenting his views, said that the club has installed a water cooler of cold water for the drinking water of the people at a cost of 40,000 rupees at the bus stand of Jahankhel. He said that the club will continue its social welfare activities. On this occasion, Club Secretary Amandeep Singh, Past President General Singh Dhir, Past Assistant Governor Rajan Saini, Naresh Kumar Handa, Village Sarpanch Kamal Malli also presented their views. Sarpanch Kamal Malli and the villagers appreciated the work done by the club and assured the club to contribute fully in this kind of social welfare work in future as well.
