Nawanshahr - The SKT Plantation team has been running a tree planting campaign on the occasion of birthday for the last 7 years in Nawanshahr, in which the team's goal is to involve every person in the conservation of the environment. So people are being encouraged to plant saplings on their birthday.
Today Vishwas Seva Society and Shyama Shyam Sankirtan Mandal Founder and Director Parvinder Batra celebrated his birthday by planting 6 saplings of neem, suhanjana, hibiscus and canar at his focal point. It may be mentioned that Parvinder Batra has been associated with social service and religious preaching for the last four decades and has been celebrating his birthday every year for the last 7 years by planting a tree together with the SKT plantation team. Parvinder Batra said in his environmental message that we can all inspire the society to do good work but we have to start from ourselves. We all have to try to plant more trees to avoid breathing problems in the future. He said that if there is water, there is tomorrow. Ground water level is falling day by day. If we want to improve the ground water level then we have to plant more and more trees. Plant a tree every day If you can't do it every day, plant a tree on your birthday or wedding anniversary. Team moderator Ankush Nijhawan said that our team tries to involve as many people as possible to protect the environment.
