Una, June 26 - On the occasion of International Drug Prohibition Day 2024, the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment celebrated the Out Reach Drop In Center Kotla Kalan on Wednesday under the aegis of District Welfare Officer Una and Shama Sanstha. The program was presided over by Executive District Welfare Officer Una Jatinder Kumar. In the program, the District Welfare Officer gave information about the schemes being run on drug prevention related to the department and administered an oath to all present to make District Una drug free.
During this, the director of Shama Sanstha made the children aware about the prevention and solution of drug addiction. Dr. Rajinder Singh Dadwal from the Sanstha gave information about the treatment of patients and Komal Sharma, Counselor/Center Incharge, gave information about the facilities being provided by the ODC Center.
On this occasion Sonika, Neha, Jatin and Hariom expressed their views on drug prevention and were also rewarded as an encouragement.
On this occasion 50 people including director of Shama Sanstha Narendra Premi and his office staff, Superintendent of District Welfare Officer Mohini Sharma, Seema Devi clerk along with about 20 children from IIICT and SYBASE Computer Center participated.
