Patiala, June 7 – Additional District Magistrate Madam Kanchan has exercised her powers under Section 144 of the Penal Code, 1973 to prohibit the sale of gutka, paan masala and other food and drink items containing tobacco and nicotine or intoxicants within the limits of district Patiala. Completed on selling/serving the substances in different food items or in any other way by adding these drugs in different flavors etc. to the visitors of any Hookah Bar Hotel/Restaurant etc. and running such Hookah Bar. Prohibitory orders have been issued. This order issued by the Additional District Magistrate will remain in force till August 5.
