SAS Nagar (Kurali), July 17- Civil Surgeon Dr. Sangeeta Jain conducted a surprise inspection of the Community Health Centre at Kurali this morning and reviewed the health services being provided to the people. While visiting various wards of the hospital, Dr. Jain noticed lack of cleanliness at some places and directed the Senior Medical Officer to make necessary arrangements to keep the hospital clean and remove other deficiencies.
She said that she is also making efforts at her level for the betterment of the hospital. Dr. Jain said that the Health Department is committed to provide a clean environment to the patients and others visiting government health institutions. A clean environment in any hospital is important for the health benefits of the patient.
Dr. Jain also inspected the availability of essential medicines and medical equipment. She directed the health officials that all the essential medicines prescribed by the doctor should be available in the hospital itself.
Senior Medical Officer of the hospital, Dr. Amit Kumar assured the Civil Surgeon that he would make necessary arrangements for the betterment of the institute to provide effective and quality facilities to the people. Dr. Davinder Gupta and Dr. Sahil Kalia were also present on the occasion.
