Una Police Conducts Flag March in Sanauli and Ajauli Ahead of Panchayat Elections
Santoshgarh/Una, May 23 (Rajveer Chopra): In view of the upcoming Panchayat elections, the Una Police conducted an extensive flag march in the Sanauli and Ajauli areas. The flag march was led by SP Sanjeev Bhatia and SSO Gaurav Bhardwaj. Accompanied by a heavy police contingent, the force marched through the local markets, main thoroughfares, and sensitive areas of the region, conveying a message to the public regarding the importance of maintaining peace and law and order.
Police officials stated that ensuring the Panchayat elections are conducted in a peaceful, fair, and fear-free environment is a top priority for the administration. To this end, surveillance in the region is being continuously intensified, and security arrangements have been significantly bolstered. During the flag march, the police team also inspected various polling stations and their surrounding areas.
Appealing to the public, SP Sanjeev Bhatia urged citizens not to pay heed to any rumors during the election period and to maintain social harmony. He added that if anyone observes any suspicious activity, they should immediately report it to the police so that appropriate action can be taken in a timely manner.
SSO Gaurav Bhardwaj informed that the police remain fully vigilant regarding the elections, and patrolling in the region is being continuously increased. He emphasized that a strict watch is being kept on anti-social elements, and stern action will be taken against anyone found disrupting law and order.
During the flag march, local residents welcomed this initiative by the police and assured them of their full cooperation in ensuring the conduct of peaceful elections.
