Special cleanliness drive by Municipal Council continues Wards 6 11 and 25 cleaned

Hansi:– With the aim of making the city clean, beautiful, and healthy, a special cleanliness drive is being continuously conducted by the Municipal Council. On Thursday, as part of this drive, extensive cleaning work was carried out in Ward numbers 6, 11, and 25. During the campaign, drains, sewers, roads, public places, and vacant plots were cleaned, and the garbage was collected and transported to the designated dumping site.
For the effective execution of this special campaign, the Municipal Council appointed an official as a 'Captain' for each ward. Chief Minister's Good Governance Associate Pratiksha Sangwan was appointed as the Captain for Ward 6, Junior Engineer Sandeep for Ward 11, and EO Rajendra Soni for Ward 25. These officers remained present on-site with the concerned staff to monitor the cleaning work and ensured the campaign was conducted effectively.
During the drive, sanitation workers removed silt from drains, swept the roads, collected garbage, and ensured its proper disposal. They also appealed to the citizens to maintain cleanliness in their surroundings and to keep wet and dry waste segregated.
Municipal Council officials stated that the special cleanliness drive would continue in a similar manner across various wards of the city in the coming days. The objective of the campaign is to provide a clean and healthy environment in every ward and to raise awareness about hygiene among citizens. The Municipal Council has appealed to the city residents not to throw garbage in public places, to cooperate with the sanitation workers, and to actively participate in maintaining cleanliness in their surroundings.
