Two accused arrested for committing murder
Karnal, July 07- The team of District Police Station Nissing, under the leadership of Sub-Inspector Ajay Kumar, has successfully arrested two accused in a murder case by taking prompt action. The arrested accused have been identified as Rishipal, son of Dariyaram, and Sagar, son of Rishipal, both residents of village Kuchpura.
The investigating officer provided information stating that according to the complaint received, Amrit Lal, a resident of village Raison, filed a complaint at Police Station Nissing. He stated that his sister, Manjeet Kaur alias Manju, was married about a year ago to Manish, a resident of village Kuchpura. Ever since the marriage, her husband Manish and his family members had been harassing her for dowry and physically assaulting her. Several panchayats had been held regarding this matter in the past as well.
According to the complainant, on the night of July 05, 2026, his sister called and informed him that her in-laws were assaulting her and that her life was in danger. Following this, the complainant, along with his two brothers, reached village Kuchpura to bring her back.
It is alleged that the accused, who were lying in wait near the Kuchpura bus stand, stopped their vehicle and attacked them with sharp-edged weapons. During this incident, Jaswinder was stabbed with a knife, causing him severe injuries. He was first taken to the Civil Hospital in Nissing, from where he was referred to Karnal after initial treatment. Jaswinder succumbed to his injuries on the way, and upon reaching the Civil Hospital in Karnal, doctors declared him dead.
Based on the complaint, a case was registered under the relevant sections at Police Station Nissing, and the police initiated an investigation. During the investigation, two accused involved in the murder, Rishipal and Sagar, were arrested. Today, both accused were presented before the honorable court, and a one-day police remand was obtained. Further investigation is underway to uncover the details of the case through intensive interrogation during the remand.
