Ratia, May 23: A Teacher-Parent Meeting was organized at Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya. The meeting was presided over by the school's Principal, Avneesh Garg. On behalf of the school, he extended a warm welcome to all the parents present.
During the meeting, parents were apprised of the results of the recently conducted board examinations. Furthermore, they were encouraged to enroll as many students as possible for the upcoming academic session (2026-27), and information regarding the unique features and facilities of the school was shared. Mrs. Manjit Kaur, the SMC President, was present on this occasion.
The Principal informed the parents that the school provides three meals a day to the students; students in grades 6 through 8 receive free uniforms, and all students are provided with a monthly stipend of ?100 as pocket money. The Principal appealed to the parents to send their children back to school on the very day following the conclusion of the holidays, so that academic activities could resume smoothly and without interruption.
Many parents were present at the event, including Kanwarjit, Banwari Lal, Charanjit Singh, Sonu Garg, Ghanshyam, Sarita Rani, Seema Rani, Sheenu, Sunita Rani, and Beant Kaur.
