Patiala 23rd May:- Today, on 23rd May, a comprehensive meeting of the class four Go:Imp:Union Punjab Head Office (1680) affiliated to Punjab Mandi Board and Market Committees, contract and outsource employees, was held at Rajpura Colony Union Office, Patiala under the chairmanship of Kuldeep Singh Maur, State Executive President. The meeting was specially attended by the Union's State President Darsan Singh Lubana, Secretary General Ranjit Singh Ranwan.
The decisions of the meeting held on 7th May 2026 with Mandi Board Chairman Mr. Harchand Singh Burst and other officials were reviewed in the meeting. After discussing issues like ending the contract system, insourcing all outsourced workers to the Punjab Mandi Board, and implementing the decision of the Honorable High Court regarding equal pay for equal work, it was decided that a state-level big convention of the Punjab Mandi Board's regional, outsourced workers, including grade four employees, would be held in the month of June.
