Ratia, July 8:- In view of the rainy season, SDM Surendra Singh visited various areas of the city to inspect the drainage and cleanliness systems. During this visit, he directed the concerned officials and employees to ensure regular cleaning of drains and to prevent any situation of waterlogging during the rains.
SDM Surendra Singh asked the shopkeepers situated near the drains not to dump garbage or other waste materials into them. He stated that dumping waste in drains obstructs water drainage, which can lead to waterlogging problems during the monsoon. He appealed to the shopkeepers to cooperate with the administration in keeping the city clean.
The SDM also visited Shaheed Devinder Singh Park and instructed the relevant officials to maintain better cleanliness in the park. He emphasized that regular cleaning and maintenance of public places should be ensured so that citizens can have access to a clean and safe environment.
He further instructed the officials to pay special attention to the cleanliness system during the rainy season and ensure immediate resolution upon receiving information about any problem.
