Mission Swasth Bharat Awareness Session Inspires Students at Karnal International School
Karnal, June 8: An inspiring health awareness session was organized at Karnal International School under the ‘Mission Swasth Bharat’ (Healthy India Mission) campaign. The session was conducted by Ms. Tapasi Upadhyay, a renowned health awareness campaigner from Meerut, under the guidance of the school’s Chairman, Colonel Arun Datta, and the leadership of Principal Ms. Garima.
Addressing the gathering, Ms. Tapasi Upadhyay shared the inspiring story of her ‘800+ Campaign.’ She recounted how she had traveled across 25 states of India on a Bullet motorcycle with the aim of spreading awareness about health, fitness, and a healthy lifestyle. Her inspiring journey motivated the students to adopt a disciplined, health-conscious, and positive lifestyle.
In her address, she encouraged students to engage in regular physical activities, avoid junk food and packaged items, and opt for fresh, nutritious, and home-cooked meals. She remarked that most packaged and highly processed foods are akin to "garbage" for the body; yet, people unknowingly spend money on them, turning their bodies into breeding grounds for diseases. Such foods are major causes of obesity, lack of energy, and various lifestyle-related ailments.
Conveying a message to the students, she stated, "Good health is the greatest wealth." She emphasized that by choosing healthy food daily, we can ensure the well-being of ourselves, our families, and society at large. In her inspiring message, she added, "If we are not healthy, our nation cannot be healthy either. Only healthy citizens can build a healthy, empowered, and developed India." She urged the students to spread health awareness among their families and friends so that everyone could collectively realize the vision of a ‘Healthy India.’
This informative and interactive session was highly appreciated by both students and teachers. In conclusion, the school community expressed heartfelt gratitude to Ms. Tapasi Upadhyay and commended her efforts in inspiring young people to become healthy, aware, and responsible citizens who contribute to nation-building.
